Trauma and PTSD – Kelly Gall

Kelly Gall     Quals: BSc (Hons), MPsych (Health), MClinPsych MAPS

Disaster and Critical Incident Support: Kelly has training and experience in providing screening, psychological first aid and treatment for individuals exposed to potentially traumatising events.  Kelly is able to offer her services to individuals who have been exposed to traumatic events, who are experiencing post-traumatic reactions, or who have PTSD.  Her services are also available to workplaces and organisations that wish to support their staff following accidents, natural disasters and other critical incidents.

Counselling Approach: Kelly is an endorsed Health Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist. Being exposed to a potentially traumatising event such as a natural disaster or major incident does not mean that you will experience long-term mental health problems; in fact, most people will recover fully. However, there are things that you can do to reduce the likelihood of developing problems for those involved in life-threatening or highly distressing incidents. Kelly works with individual clients and organisations to help ensure that people exposed to potentially traumatic life events have the greatest chance of attaining a full recovery; without providing unnecessary services..
